These girls are currently serving hard time in broody jail. 🐓🚔 They want to sit in their nesting boxes all day and hatch imaginary babies, but nope — not today, ladies. Out here, you’re required to eat grass, eat food, and remember how to be actual chickens.

They look rough right now — molting, crests all matted, feathers messy, and yes… even a little poop thanks to everyone cramming into the same box but refusing to get up to go to the bathroom. It’s chaos. 😂

Honestly, though? This feels a lot like mom life. We pour everything into our kids, and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. And sure, there are those days when we finally grab a little “me time,” do our hair, feel refreshed, and look like we’ve got it all together.

But today? Today is not that day. 🙃
